Pazzaluna is a staple in the downtown St. Paul food culture serving up modern Italian cuisine. Their established brand needed a refresh to reflect it’s fresh modern edge.

A bold brand refresh with a sexy,
playful ad campaign giving a twist on the romantic Italian icons, Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni.

OUTCOME

Witty copy and sexy photography drew the attention of a new demographic while maintaining the deep rooted neighborhood nostalgia and appeal to it’s original cast and crew.

Pazzaluna means “crazy moons” in Italian, keeping the element of the brand that were grounded in it’s name we gave the logo a re-fresh with a new color palette, updated fonts and some fancy moon placement.

Pazzaluna believes food should be flirty, fun and adventurous. We couldn’t agree more! We created a sexy, yet playful ad campaign that paid homage to romantic Italian icons, Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni with a twist of witty humor.
